Gobble Up Turkey Bacon Jam

What do you get when you cross turkey bacon with hickory and bourbon? A jam you’ll gobble up by the jarful. This turkey bacon jam is in an apple butter base, then gently smoked with Spanish pimenton before adding the luxurious flavor of vanilla scented bourbon.

Ingredients: Apples, sugar, vinegar, turkey bacon, pecans, pimenton, bourbon, spices

Jammies Candied Bacon

Candy BaconNothing says lovin’ like Candied Bacon, and it’s so easy to make. First, line a pan with foil and place cold, thick sliced bacon on a rack. Place in the oven and turn on the heat to 400 degrees. The bacon will be flat this way and slowly come to cook. After 10 minutes, turn the bacon over and baste with a jam of your choice ( highly recommend Lady Marmalade but any jam will be delish on bacon!) Rotate the pan back to front and cook for 3 minutes more, then turn over and baste this side with jam. Rotate again and cook for 2 more minutes or until slightly caramelized. The entire time is about 15-20 minutes.

Remove the pan and let cool before devouring or you’ll burn your mouth on the hot jam!
