JAMMIES began with a memory. My grandmother was a farmer’s wife, and every year she would bring us her latest jams when she escaped the bitter cold up north.  As a child I would stare up at the cupboard, wondering how gooseberries could be sweet if they came from her geese, and why my “Jammie’s ” red currant jelly always guided Santa’s sleigh to our house. Seems the Big Guy couldn’t resist Jammie’s jam with his cookies and milk!

JAMMIES brings back memories of times when jams were made the way nature, and my Jammie, intended: chemical-free, and slowly cooked in small batches on the stove top, all by hand. Our jams are made with my grandmother Martha’s time tested recipes and created from seasonal produce obtained weekly at the Santa Monica’s Farmer’s Market. We source additional ingredients from small family farms, organic coops that support living wages and sustainable farms that enrich local communities. Every batch is hand cut, then infused for 24 hours with organic herbs and spices, driving the sweetness and flavor deep into every piece of fruit. This allows us to use less sugar ( so fewer calories ) letting you taste the fresh flavor of each fruit in every jar. We never use commercial pectin or high fructose corn syrup, resulting in a healthier, preservative-free jam every time – just like home made, only better!
